8V Series Cast Iron Four-Groove QD Sheaves for "8V" Belts
8V series four groove QD (quick detachable) bushing pulley is applicable to 8V and 8V belt. They range in diameter from 12.50 "to 53.00". Depending on the pulley size, they use F, J or M QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Our four groove 8V QD pulleys are mostly made of high-strength 35 grade cast iron, coated with phosphate and anti-corrosion paint. All these are balanced at the factory to ensure smooth operation of the machine.

(1) 8V series V-belt
Classic 8V series V-belts have a top width of 0.63 ", a thickness of 0.53", and an angle of 38 °. In addition, the 8V V-belt is one of the oldest V-belts in the industry. The high-quality 8V series v-belts we provide are manufactured according to ISO 9001 specifications, which are oil and heat resistant and can be directly interchanged with other brands. They are composed of natural rubber compound and polyester rope, and are covered with a mixture of cotton and polyester, with high durability.

The 8V series v-belts are part of the "classic" series of v-belts because they are one of the oldest styles used and one of the most common styles. Precautions for pulley assembly
1. Gasoline must be used for the last cleaning before assembly to ensure that all parts are clean and dry, the mating surfaces are closely matched, free of oil stains, and have sufficient friction.
2. Hexagon socket head bolts for assembly shall also be cleaned and dried with gasoline before assembly. Do not apply lubricating oil or grease to the bolt or screw hole to ensure that the bolt has sufficient friction self-locking capacity after tightening.
3. When the three hexagon socket head bolts are about to be installed, they need to be tightened in turn to ensure that the tapered sleeve is subjected to uniform axial force and that the v-shaped pulley and the tapered sleeve are placed in the same axis.
4. Before installation, check and measure the length of the hexagonal socket bolt for assembly to ensure that the assembly bolt can bear the bottom end of the blind hole of the conical sleeve after being tightened, to ensure that the conical surface is closely matched, and to ensure that the bolt is subject to reverse thrust at the bottom of the blind hole, so that the anti loosening effect of the double nut principle is the same.
5. After the belt pulley is tightened, check and adjust the relative positions of the driving and driven belt pulleys by pulling wires to ensure that the two belt pulleys are on the same plane and the belt tension is moderate.
6. The pulley cover shall be intact and firmly installed to ensure that the belt is broken or the pulley is loose and withdrawn during operation, thus leading to major safety accidents.
7. The conical sleeve is a wearing part. Inspection shall be carried out before each assembly. If any defect is found, spare parts shall be replaced in time. The inner bore and the chain groove may be damaged after prolonged operation. The inner cavity and chain groove may be damaged after long processing.
